C++ Software Engineer ULL Market Data Group

My client is a Multi-Asset Market Maker, who entered several new Asset Classes/Markets in 2023 to add to their existing strength in the Equities, Futures and Options space. They now seek 3 Senior Developer's (C++) to assume responsible for the design, build and implementation of L1 to L3 Market Data solutions, including Feed Handlers, the underlying transport Protocols for transmission, and the Global Ticker Plant.

Partnering with both the Mid and High Frequency trading desks, Quant Development, Ultra Low Latency Quant Research, Hardware Engineering (FPGA), High Performance Infrastructure, and other Software teams, you will be involved across all 4 layers = from API, to Business logic, Protocol and Connectivity.

Indicative Compensation

• Basic Salary - £140k-£180k
• Plus Annual Bonus - 50-100%+ of Base Salary
• Full Benefits - Inc. Non-Contributory Pension, Full Medical, etc

• Non-Compete periods of 6-12 months considered (Sign-on provided)

Applicants suited to this team

• 2+ years developing Real-time Market Data solutions
• 4+ years of C++ as Software Engineer / Analyst Programmer / Developer
• Excellent Meta programming skills
• Excellent Socket programming skills
• Deep understanding of TCP and UDP stack
• Experience of both Binary and FIX market data protocols
• Strong Linux (Kernel exposure ideal)
• UK RTW (min. Skilled Worker Visa / Tier-2 required) or EU Citizenship (Sponsorship and relocation provided)
