Xcede are currently partnered with an exciting stealth mode startup focused within DevSecOps and Application security solutions working with development teams to implement security as early as possible.

Following their seed funding we are looking to launch within the US and as a result are looking for a founding sales director to join as the 1st on the ground.

Responsibilities:

The successful sales director would work closely with the CEO and Co-Founder to help create the playbook and develop the sales function across the US and Globally.

  • Own the full sales cycle from start to finish, win new business and develop revenue
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed quotas
  • Push cross-function collaboration
  • Work with clients for upsell and cross sales opportunities
  • Develop partnership landscape

Requirements:

The successful individual must have worked within a startup company before as either the 1st on the ground or early stage employee within the Sales Function.

  • At least 5+ years B2B SaaS experience within application security or cyber security
  • Experience selling Application/Product Security solutions - advantage.
  • Prior experience as a BDR highly desirable.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with executives.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and remotely.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy.
  • BA/BS degree preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
