Senior Sales Engineer - 1st on the ground
Xcede are partnered with an early-stage Stealth mode startup who are focused within Identity Governance and Administration and identity infrastructure solutions.
Our client is backed by a well-known VC within the cyber space and the founders have all taken vendors through to exits twice before.
Following their impressive seed funding of circa $40m! They are looking to launch into the US market and come out stealth mode before the new year!
As part of this we are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join as the 1st sales engineer in the US.
Location: Work from home setup but ideally based in NYC / Chicago / Houston / Dallas
Responsibilities:
The successful Sales Engineer will closely with the Co-Founder and CEO and incoming Director of Sales to help build out the US Go-To-Market function and launch the business within the US.
- Demonstrate the technical and business value of my clients' solutions to potential clients and partners
- Assist sales executives with the technical aspect of our solution
- Work closely with enterprise clients across the Americas
- Conduct presentations to local/ regional / national conferences and Expo's
- Carry out POCs and RFPs
- Build a win-win relationship with external customers and prospects as well and internal departments
- Manage the POC deliverables and timelines and shorten the sales cycle when possible
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in sales engineer or solutions architecture
- Successful track record of new business production within cyber security
- Understanding of Identity access management solutions or IGA Solutions
- Previous experience within a Startup is an advantage
- Technical understanding of cybersecurity products and solutions keeping up to do date with trends in the market.
- Ability to travel
Package: The OTE for this role is flexible depending on experience however ballpark would be $230,000 - $270,000 (70/30) plus equity and benefits
