Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance Leadership:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to cultivate a culture of data stewardship and adherence to governance best practices.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards governing data access and retention.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of data governance practices, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop strategies for data protection and business continuity.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data governance specialists, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Establish performance metrics and conduct evaluations to recognize achievements and motivate team members.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

Qualifications:
Experience:
- 10+ years in data governance with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data integration tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data-related issues.
Leadership & Communication:
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams and collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data management, information systems, or a related field. Advanced certifications in data governance or privacy are advantageous.
