Front-Office C++ Developer for Top NYC Hedge Fund

A top NYC-based hedge fund is looking for a seasoned C++ developer to join their growing front-office equities technology team on a full-time basis.

This team is responsible for the design, development and support of various technology platforms that enable the businesses to research & develop strategies, create simulated trade books, back test, and assess the risk and factor analytics of various live and paper portfolios intraday and end of day. They are team building out a market leading portfolio management platform by working directly with the business.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in C++ and Python application development on Linux along with basic understanding of the Linux operating system
• Experience in multi-threaded C++/multiprocessing Python along with profiling and optimizing platforms
• Experience with event driven architecture using message bus and caching technologies like kafka, pulsar, mem cache, redis etc.
• A strong interest in financial markets and a desire to work directly with investment professionals
