Network Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Arista Networking Consultant to provide advanced post-sales design and engineering expertise for Arista's Open Networking Data Center platform, with a primary focus on Universal Cloud Network (UCN) deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network environments, with a deep understanding of Arista solutions, including CloudVision Portal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced post-sales design and engineering services for Arista's Open Networking Data Center platform, with a strong emphasis on UCN solutions.
• Design and implement network architectures, including EVPN, VXLAN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, Multicast, QoS, and leaf-spine topology for deployments.
• Build configurations and network provisioning automation using Python and tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Provide expertise in practical deployment of Arista AVD (Automation and Visibility Dashboard) and ANTA (Arista Network Test Automation).
• Implement and manage macro- and micro-segmentation (MSS) solutions.
• Conduct bug scrubs, make software and hardware code recommendations, and act as an interface to TAC, internal development teams, and the customer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues, including configuration errors, routing problems, performance concerns, software bugs, and hardware failures.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure seamless implementation and change control processes.
• Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for virtualized network environments, including VMware vSphere and RedHat OpenShift/OpenStack.
• Maintain excellent documentation of designs, processes, and troubleshooting workflows, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and clear verbal and written communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working with Arista's UCN platform and CloudVision Portal.
• Arista ACE4-5 Certification or higher.
• Extensive experience in network design and engineering, including EVPN, VXLAN, and related protocols.
• Proficiency in network automation using Python and tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Arista AVD and ANTA tools.
• Solid understanding of macro- and micro-segmentation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Familiarity with hypervisor virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, RedHat OpenShift/OpenStack).
• Expertise in using industry-standard Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to track and follow up on tickets and opportunities.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
