Key Responsibilities:

• Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, test, and maintain BASE24 applications to support financial transaction processing.
• ATM & POS Integration: Ensure robust functionality and seamless integration of ATM and POS systems with the BASE24 platform.
• Transaction Switching & Standards Compliance: Implement advanced transaction switching systems in line with EMV (Europay, MasterCard, and Visa) and industry standards.
• Debugging and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues in the BASE24 environment, ensuring high system availability.
• Database Management: Optimize and manage database configurations to support high-performance transaction processing.
• API Development & Optimization: Design and integrate APIs for enhanced interoperability and streamlined processes.
• Performance Optimization: Execute performance tuning strategies to ensure efficient processing of high transaction volumes.
• Security Assurance: Uphold robust security protocols and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative payment solutions and enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of BASE24 application architecture and design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TAL, COBOL, and S-COBOL.
• Comprehensive understanding of ATM and POS systems functionality and transaction switching processes.
• Hands-on experience with database partitioning and optimization.
• Proven expertise in debugging and troubleshooting BASE24 systems.
• Familiarity with API integration and optimization.
• Strong understanding of EMV standards and regulatory compliance in the payments domain.
• Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and system optimization.
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
