About the job:
Recording and analysing customer requirements in the Kubernetes environment
Creation and coordination of concepts for the development of developer platforms
Conducting customer workshops and strategy workshops to set up new or further develop existing platforms
Advising teams, also at C-level, on the use of Kubernetes, container technologies and architectural decisions
Conducting customer workshops and strategy workshops about Platform Engineering
Communicating the impact of architectural decisions on platform usability and operational processes
Supporting sales by building and maintaining customer relationships
Ensuring a long-term and collaborative partnership with our customers
Implement the designed decision at customer side
Who you are:
Experience in setting up, designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms
Experience in integrating Kubernetes into existing business/enterprise environments
Confident demeanour, analytical and conceptual skills, ability to work in a team and customer orientation
- Native or fluent German speaker
It would be optimal if …:
You possess extensive expertise with cloud service providers and Kubernetes on-premise distributions.
You can provide in-depth explanations of the advantages and disadvantages involved in establishing large multi-cloud environments (e.g., AKS and Tanzu or GCP and Rancher).
You are capable of collaboratively developing a multi-cloud strategy with our customers, tailored to their specific requirements.
You have a profound understanding of the most commonly used cloud and on-premises infrastructure providers, including their architectural requirements and the architectural impact they have on the Kubernetes platform implemented on top of them.
You can lead enterprise-level workshops for our customers, using practical examples to illustrate how to design and build a private cloud (the correct way).
You possess extensive knowledge of process optimization in enterprises, particularly with respect to organizational processes during the adoption of Kubernetes, and can effectively communicate these concepts to customers in workshops.
You can create a comparison matrix for the most critical Kubernetes tools and components, enabling data-driven decision-making (e.g., CNI selection for a Kubernetes infrastructure with in-depth explanations of the pros and cons).
You have experience in implementing Kubernetes and containers in edge environments and can design a modern platform tailored for these specific use cases.
You have delivered numerous presentations at conferences within the cloud-native field.
