My client is looking for a talented and motivated DevSecOps Consultant (m/f/d) to join their team and support customers in integrating security into their DevOps practices (DevSecOps). In this role, you will work closely with clients to install and onboard security software, develop custom API scripts for various tools, and assist the sales team with product demos and industry events.
Your expertise will be essential in helping customers implement secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructures, and secure application lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
- Install and onboard security software for clients, ensuring a seamless transition to secure DevOps practices.
- Develop and maintain custom API scripts to integrate various tools within client environments.
- Support sales and marketing efforts through product demonstrations and participation in industry conferences.
- Work closely with customers to address DevSecOps challenges, including infrastructure as code, containerization, and security management.
- Assist clients with best practices for Kubernetes security and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working in large Linux environments (System Engineer/Sysadmin).
- 2+ years of experience in product-driven projects (optional).
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, particularly Kubernetes, and experience managing services on Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Git, branching strategies, and CI pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Kustomize).
- Hands-on experience with secret management technologies (e.g., HashiCorp Vault) and Open Container Initiative (OCI) registries.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes security practices and network zones.
- Experience working in air-gapped environments and with self-service cloud-native tools.
- Proficiency in reviewing and merging code contributions via merge/pull requests.
- Fluent in English and German (at least B2 level in both languages).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in network security and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and compliance standards for containerized applications.
