BMC Specialist - TrueSight Network Automation & Automation Console

Job Title: BMC Accredited Specialist in TrueSight Network Automation & Automation Console
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site in Manchester
Contract: 1-year initial contract (2-year project) with high likelihood of extension
Rate: Competitive, depending on experience

About the Role:A leading IT services provider is seeking a BMC accredited specialist with expertise in TrueSight Network Automation (TSNA) and TrueSight Automation Console (TSAC). You will play a key role in deploying a cohesive network automation entity, enhancing the stability and consistency of a major public sector organization's network. As part of an Agile squad, you will collaborate closely with support engineers and back-office engineering teams to drive adoption of TSNA across all network equipment, improve automation of network policies, configurations, and backups, and ensure the stability of the current platform through maintenance and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase adoption of TSNA across a hybrid network estate.
• Ensure effective automation of network policies, configurations, and associated backups.
• Maintain and upgrade the existing TrueSight environment to ensure stability and availability of the latest software.
• Train and upskill the permanent team, creating process documentation where necessary.
• Define, document, and implement architectural approaches and low-level design documentation.
• Automate network management and configuration tasks using TSNA.
• Automate network and security compliance tasks, including automated remediation using TSNA.
• Discover and remediate network vulnerabilities using TSAC (preferably with Tenable integration).
• Work with multiple TrueSight products, with a focus on TrueSight Network Automation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Employed by an accredited BMC Partner. 
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with TrueSight Network Automation and TrueSight Automation Console.
• Proven capability in maintaining and upgrading BMC environments in line with the BMC patch lifecycle.
• Ability to train and mentor internal teams, creating detailed documentation.
• Strong experience in defining and documenting architectural approaches and translating them into low-level design.
• Extensive experience in automating network management, configuration, and security compliance using TSNA.
• Experience in network vulnerability discovery and remediation using TSAC.
• Familiarity with Tenable integration within TrueSight Automation Console.
