Junior Data Engineer 
Location: London
Full-Time | 0–1 Years’ Experience
We’re looking for someone with a passion for data, learning, and self-development to join our growing team. This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their career in data engineering or analytics. You don’t need to know everything—we’re looking for someone inquisitive, innovative, and eager to grow.
You should be comfortable working with team members across the business, have a positive, can-do attitude, and enjoy solving complex challenges in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders, delivering timely and accurate insights.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across reports and dashboards.
  • Identify trends and patterns in sales, customer behaviour, and operational performance to support data-driven decisions.
  • Help automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of data-driven agents, including technology selection and repository management.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Background in computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Working knowledge of Python, R, and/or SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and advanced analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Well-organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with dashboarding and BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Understanding of effective data visualisation practices.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (especially Azure) and big data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.
  • Commercial or business-related experience.
  • Microsoft certifications in data analytics, data engineering, or Azure technologies.
